Animal Collective will release a new remix EP called ‘Monkey Been to Burn Town’ on May 28th on Domino. The release includes versions of Centipede Hz track ‘Monkey Riches’ from Gang Gang Dance’s Brian DeGraw, Teengirl Fantasy, and Traxman, along with Shabazz Palaces’ take on Centipede’s ‘New Town Burnout’.

Dave’s new supergroup of sorts describes its self as
“A group of three hippies on a road trip through the backwaters of 2013s rural music scene fall prey to a murderous cannibalistic band making, including a leather-masked, guitar-wielding Avey Tare (Himself, Animal Collective), his knife-wielding keyboard player Angel Deradoorian (Deradoorian, Dirty Projectors), and their cannibal chief drummer and decaying grandfather Jeremy Hyman (Ponytail, Boredoms, Dan Deacon).”
Interesting! So far there aren’t many more details but they will be playing four shows.
